Two Tracks, Right-Sized
Explorers
Ages 7–10
Built for younger adventurers discovering the outdoors. Shorter routes, more games, guided skill-building. Every kid finishes the outing feeling capable.
Trailblazers
Ages 11–14
For older kids ready for real challenges. Steeper hikes, technical climbing, longer approaches. Trailblazers-only outings push them further on local sandstone and ridgelines.
Trailblazers-only days availableA Half-Day on Lookout Mountain
Every outing follows the same rhythm. Here is what a typical hiking morning looks like.
Parents drop off at the designated meetup. Staff do a headcount and buddy-pair assignment.
Gear check, snacks, and a route briefing. Then we head to the trailhead or crag.
Instruction, exploration, and structured outdoor learning for the morning block.
A sit-down snack. Leave No Trace practice, knot-tying, or navigation skills.
Pack up, share highlights, head back. Photos sent to parents throughout the morning.
ID-checked sign-out at the same meetup. Tired, dirty, and proud.
